From initial discussions and
continuing through design and tooling, three key elements remain
the focus of the Sunday 41: Superb functionality to suit varying
needs, elegant design combining gracious style with modern performance,
and extraordinary quality in every aspect of hardware, materials,
and construction.
Single-handed capability was a given, but equally
important, accommodations had to be comfortable for limited cruising
by couples and their occasional guests. Styling had to equal or
surpass classic tradition with sailing qualities offering excellent
performance using contemporary design elements. Hardware and accessories
had to be carefully selected from well-respected names, and construction
had to meet internationally accepted standards achieved by skilled
composite technicians, precision metalcrafters, meticulous carpenters,
and journeyman mechanics and electricians.
Robb Ladd Yacht Design
and Red Dragon/Paramount Yachts collaborated nearly two years developing
this stunning new yacht.
